A Green Cell Phone?

Renew, the world's first "green" phone is here. The January 2010 issue of Consumer Reports has a review of Motorola’s W233 Renew pre-paid cell phone (T-Mobile).

What makes it green? Well, Motorola says it's 100% recyclable-and the case is made from recycled soda bottles. It's also supposed to cut down on energy needed for recharging with a talk time of up to 9 hours.
The company claims the cell phone is “carbon neutral,” meaning Motorola invests in carbon offsets to compensate for the carbon dioxide required to manufacture, distribute and operate the phone. They purchase their ofsets through carbonfund.org.

So our next question is-how's the performance? I'd love to hear from anyone who has one.
